Senior School, Term 1 Week 9

Navy Blue Formal: Friday 22 March:

The Navy Blue Formal was a huge success. Many thanks to the staff and students who helped to organise this special night. Congratulations to all students for engaging the event in a respectful and enjoyable manner.

Lent Fundraiser: Wednesday 27 March
Our next casual day is the Lent Fundraiser tomorrow Wednesday 27 March supporting charities for ovarian cancer, testicular cancer and childhood cancer. This fundraiser has been organised by our Year 12 prefects. Students can support this fundraiser by wearing casual clothes and adding a splash of teal, purple or yellow with a gold coin donation.

Additionally, money can be brought to purchase items from the Bake Sale. Students are also welcome to donate baked goods to sell at the bake sale.

If families wish to bake or donate goods, please ensure they are nut free and include a list of ingredients alongside any food items to allow students with allergies to identify food they can/cannot eat.

There are some guidelines that students need to adhere to, mostly due to health and safety guidelines. Please refer to the following so that it can be an enjoyable and safe day for all:

  • Shoulders must be covered (i.e. no strapless or singlet tops to be worn)
  • Slogans and logos must not be offensive
  • Shoes must cover feet properly (i.e. no thongs or ugg-boots)
  • No heavy make-up (as per usual)
  • Different jewellery may be worn, but still only one set of earrings
  • Long hair must be tied back (as per usual)
  • The day is not a costume or dress-up day ie. no ‘onesies’, no pyjamas

If your child has PE on the day, they are still expected to wear appropriate exercise clothes, although this may be non-Pulteney PE uniform sports clothes. We look forward to an enjoyable day whilst raising important funds to support numerous charities.
