Pulteney is delighted to launch its podcast, Compass Points, in 2022.

Compass Points is a space for considered discussion, enlightening conversation and deep diving into all things related to the current and future educational landscape. In particular, Compass Points offers valuable insights from key leaders in the School as well as educational thought leaders on pertinent research and practice that is informing our day to day teaching and learning practice at Pulteney.

This Term, we will release a series of episodes in which key staff and leaders at Pulteney discuss components of the new teaching and learning framework at Pulteney, The Learner Compass (please find attached),  such as personalised learning, authentic relationships and learner agency. We will launch with a series focused on our school values and this will be followed by a series that will explore each Learning Principle.

We hope Compass Points will become a valuable tool assisting families to develop a strong connection with and understanding of our teaching and learning philosophy, principles and practice.

We would love to hear your feedback about the podcasts and receive any comments, questions and suggestions for upcoming episodes at podcast@pulteney.sa.edu.au.

Parents, please download Canvas prior to Learning Conferences.
Canvas is one the most innovative and adaptable platforms in the LMS landscape, providing a safe online environment for us to design personalised Pulteney courses. Canvas enables students, parents, and teachers to share and exchange detailed information about the teaching and learning process as it develops for each student. Importantly, it serves as the primary platform for reporting your child’s progress, aligning with the continuous reporting strategy implemented this year.
