Senior School, Term 1 Week 11

Congratulations to our Senior Students on an excellent Term I. The Senior School is a busy and vibrant community and I have been impressed with the positive and inclusive culture created by our students. Although the end of the term is upon us, there are still some events for us to look forward to.

Monday 9 April: University Visit

Our Year 11 students will visit The University of Adelaide to take part in workshops and have a tour of the university. Students will have the opportunity to experience life on campus and discover the facilities and services available.

Thursday 11 April: Cabaret in the Lane

Osmond St Precinct, 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Doors open at 6pm.

Tickets are now available for $25 and can be purchased here! Charcuterie boxes can be purchased under the same link – one box will feed 3-4 adults. The event is strictly no BYO, however, alcohol and additional bakery items can be purchased on site on the night.

We hope you can attend this special event.  Jazz on the Terrace 1, Jazz on the Terrace 2, Stage Band 1, Stage Band 2, Senior Strings Ensemble, Small Jazz Ensemble and selected cast from Legally Blonde will be providing the entertainment.

Please note that performing students do not require a ticket.

Friday 12 April: Whole School Assembly

Term I will conclude with a Whole School Assembly. This will provide an excellent opportunity to reflect on the many achievements and happenings during Term I. Importantly, our Year 12 students will be presented with their Year 12 Ties as this assembly. Year 12 students are required to wear winter formal School uniform for this assembly, and we look forward to recognising this cohort as leaders of our student community.

Tuesday 30 April: Commissioning of Reverend Paul Harris

This is an event of importance for our School community. The commissioning of Pulteney’s new Chaplain symbolises our commitment to a holistic education that encompasses not only academic excellence but also spiritual and moral development, nurturing the whole person in accordance with Anglican values and principles. All students are required to wear winter  formal School uniform for this service. Please do remind your child of this requirement for the first day of Term 2. For more information please click HERE

Congratulations to all students and staff for an outstanding Term I. Special thanks to all parents and caregivers for your support in helping Pulteney to create a meaningful and useful educational experience for each and every student that enables them to be their best self.

I hope you are able to spend some time with your family over the School holiday.

I look forward to seeing you soon.

Zac Savage
Head of Senior School
