Mother’s Day Breakfast

May 10, 2024 Event

The Parents & Friends of Pulteney are thrilled to extend a special invitation to you for our upcoming Mother’s Day breakfast celebration!
It’s going to be a morning filled with love, laughter, and delicious food, all in honour of the amazing mothers in our lives.

We’ll be serving up a delectable breakfast with aromatic coffee, tea and juice. It’s the perfect way to start the day and show appreciation for the incredible Mothers who brighten our lives.

In addition to celebrating motherhood, we’re also proud to support a meaningful cause. This year, all proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to Ovarian Cancer research.
By joining us, you’ll not only enjoy a wonderful meal but also contribute to a vital cause that affects so many women around the world.

You’ll have the opportunity to hear from Dr Susan Neuhaus AM CSC, whose inspiring words are sure to resonate with everyone in attendance.
Susan brings a wealth of knowledge and wisdom, and her insights promise to make this Mother’s Day breakfast truly unforgettable.

Susan is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), she has spent over three decades in public and private surgical and academic practice in Australia
and overseas and currently works as a locum surgeon in regional areas of need. She also served in the Australian Army (Regular and Reserve), including deployments to Cambodia,
Bougainville and Afghanistan. She was awarded the Conspicuous Service Cross and retired at the rank of Colonel in 2011.

Susan is a widely published author. Her most notable publication ‘Not for Glory’ is about female medical practitioners in the Australian Army and was adapted by The Shift Theatre into a play: ‘Hallowed Ground – Women Doctors at War’.

Susan has recently published a children’s book about malaria in English and Bahasa Indonesia. She is passionate about sharing her love of literature and volunteers with TAFE as an English tutor to migrants.

Let’s come together to celebrate motherhood, support Ovarian Cancer research, and create cherished memories.
