Science

Science is fundamental to understanding the natural world. Pulteney offers complex and practical courses in science that allows for students to observe their environment, ask questions, test hypotheses, and see if they are correct. Teachers delve into contemporary scientific questions and problems, including natural resources, climate change, biodiversity, medical interventions. Furthermore, our students learn how to observe and analyse the world around them in exciting new ways. They are shown how they too can contribute to society, through scientific discoveries and explorations.

“My time at Pulteney gave me a passion for science that is still with me today. The teachers were incredible, and I learnt how to test my theories and never give up. I feel extremely thankful for the knowledge I took with me and how it has helped to shape my world view and appreciation for life,” Declan Clarke (Old Scholar 2022).
