Welcome to Year 6 2024

Dear Parents and Caregivers

We would like to welcome you all back to school for the upcoming year. We are really looking forward to seeing the students next week, ready and raring to go in Term 1.

We hope you have all enjoyed the break. Catching up with family and friends and taking time out to refresh and recuperate is always such a wonderful thing- simply doing nothing is such a pleasure. Not having to be somewhere at a specific time is also a relief.

In Year 6 we encourage the students to become more independent and responsible for themselves and their belongings.

Please note, Full School Summer uniform is to be worn on day 1, Tuesday 30 January 2024.

We look forward to meeting and welcoming those of you who are able to attend the Junior School Parent Information and Welcome Evening at 5.30pm on Thursday 1 February. Please RSVP here.

Term 1 is a 11-week term, with Easter falling within the Term, Friday 29 March – Monday 1 April.

Books and Stationery

  • By now you should have received your stationery packs. Please check the order carefully so you can chase up any missing items with the company before term starts.
  • Please ensure that all items are clearly named as this will assist the students with their organisation in the classroom.
  • We kindly ask that you do not subject name the exercise books and folders as we will go through the stationery with the students at school.
  • A large soft pencil case is recommended to keep all the spare stationery (pens, pencils, erasers and the like), safe until they are needed
