Celebrating a day of Professional Growth at Pulteney Grammar School

Celebrating a day of Professional Growth at Pulteney Grammar School!

At Pulteney, we understand that the foundation of an exceptional educational experience lies in the continuous growth and development of our dedicated staff.

Yesterday we launched Semester 2 with a fantastic day of professional learning.

We have been working closely with our University of South Australia Education Futures partners, Professor Simon Leonard, Maria Vieira and Dr Debbie Devis who yesterday conducted workshops and group sessions with our teaching staff.

We are excited by the development of this work with the University of South Australia, and we are privileged to work with leading educational experts to enhance and empower our collective understanding of current educational research and how this can grow and develop our classroom practice across ELC – Year 12.

Another highlight of the day was our teachers facilitating Spotlight Sessions on Quality Thinking and Learner Agency to share the wealth of teacher expertise that currently exists across our ELC-Year 12 academic staff.

It was inspiring to see our educators come together to explore innovative teaching strategies aligned to our Pulteney Learner Compass and deepen their understanding of fostering critical thinking skills in our students. The professional development day for our staff reinforces our commitment to providing the best possible educational experience at Pulteney.

Thank you to our amazing staff for their dedication and passion for learning! We can’t wait to see the positive impact of yesterday’s professional development on our students’ educational journeys.
