Senior School, Term 2 Week 3 2026
As always, there are a great many events and happenings taking place at Pulteney. Students are encouraged to make the most of the many opportunities available within our community, and it is pleasing to see them embracing this mindset with gratitude. Some recent examples include:
Monday 4 May: Work Experience Preparation
Yesterday, our Year 11 students took part in work experience as an important component of their educational journey. To ensure they were suitably prepared for this opportunity, students participated in a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) session on Monday 4 May. This session equipped them with essential knowledge and skills to navigate the workplace safely and responsibly. It was pleasing to see students engaging with this important information in a thoughtful and responsible manner.
Thank you to Ms Johnston-Bryan and Ms Carr for organising this meaningful experience.
Wednesday 6 May: Anglican Cup
Pulteney Grammar will host the annual Anglican Cup tomorrow, a vibrant competition featuring a range of traditional winter sports. It is a great opportunity to see our students proudly represent the Navy Blue spirit, demonstrating both skill and teamwork throughout the event. The competition will bring together teams from Woodcroft College, St John’s Grammar, and Pedare Christian College. We wish all participants the very best and thank everyone who will be involved in supporting the event. The program can be found HERE.
Thursday 7 May: The South Australia Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) Road Awareness Program
A reminder that the MFS will be presenting to our Year 11 students in the Robert Henshall Sports Centre. This is a valuable opportunity for our students to receive honest and straightforward messaging designed to help keep them safe on the roads. This program is delivered by the MFS and will focus on:
- good attitudes, smart decision making and safe behaviours
- the dangers of excessive speeds, distractions and driving under the influence
- being a responsible passenger and pedestrian
- becoming a responsible driver
If you have not completed your consent for this event, please do so ASAP HERE.
Wednesday 13 May: Year 11 and Year 12 Career Breakfast
The upcoming Year 11 and Year 12 Career Breakfast which is being held on Wednesday 13 May 2026, 7.00am – 8.30am, in Wyatt Hall. The aim of the breakfast is to have Cate sit at a table with a mentor who works, and/or studies, in the industry they have chosen as one of their potential future career options and for them to listen to the mentor’s story, ask questions, exchange contact details for possible future mentoring purposes and to gain first-hand information from the people who know.
Thursday 4 June: Year 12 Halfway Day Celebration
The Year 12 journey is a special milestone for students, teachers, parents, and caregivers alike. In recognition of this important phase, we are delighted to invite you to a “halfway” celebration. This social event will provide an opportunity for you and your child to connect with teachers and other Year 12 parents as we celebrate this unique journey together.
The event will be held in Wyatt Hall, which provides a warm and welcoming setting for the evening. The atmosphere will be relaxed and comfortable, making it a great opportunity for students and parents to come together and connect.
Year 12 students are invited to attend in smart casual attire; school uniform is not required. We encourage both students and parents to attend together to share in this important occasion.
Please find below an invitation with a LINK to RSVP for catering purposes.
