Transport options

As a city school, Pulteney is in close proximity to public transport including walking distance from the tramline,  central bus stops and car parks.

We recommend using Adelaide Metro’s Journey Planner or My Next Service to plan your journey and access real time information on public transport. Travel within the city is free on the tram or on the city connector bus.

Junior School Kiss and Go Zones

Our Junior School offers two Kiss and Go drop-off zones to support a smooth and safe morning arrival for families.

Locations

• Gilles Street entrance

• Symonds Place entrance

Operating times

• Monday to Friday

• 8.15am – 8.30am

• Morning drop-off only

Both Kiss and Go zones are supervised by staff, who will assist students as they safely enter the School.

How Kiss and Go works

• Children must exit the vehicle from the left-hand (footpath) side of the car.

• Once your child has exited the vehicle and is safely in the care of a staff member, parents are asked to move off promptly to keep traffic flowing.

Important reminders for families

To ensure the safety and efficiency of the Kiss and Go zones, parents and caregivers are asked to:

• Pull into the drop-off zone as far forward as possible

• Ensure your child has their bag ready and easily accessible

• Have children enter and exit the car on the footpath side only

• Remember that Kiss and Go zones are strictly No Parking areas

• If you need to exit your vehicle, remain within 2 metres of it at all times

• Be considerate when accessing the boot to avoid delays

• Follow the directions of staff on duty

• Be respectful of other drivers, students and staff at all times

Important note for ELC and Mid-Year Reception families

The Kiss and Go service is not available for:

• ELC students

• Mid-Year Reception students

These students require a physical drop-off by a parent or caregiver.

ELC families must continue to use the Xplor application at the classroom door when dropping off and collecting their child.
