Welcome to Term 3 at Pulteney

I hope you enjoyed a restful break and are feeling refreshed for the term ahead.

I would like to begin by extending a very warm welcome to the new students and families joining our School this term. Starting at a new school is an exciting milestone, and we are delighted that you have chosen to become part of the Pulteney community.

To our Year 12s, this is an important term. As you move towards the final months of schooling, I encourage you to remain steadfast in your application to your studies.

Lean on your teachers. Maximise your time in class, encourage one another and be deliberate in your study habits. Sleep well, eat well, exercise regularly and make time for family and friends.

As the demands of the term increase, continue to work hard, maintain your focus and remember to be kind—to yourselves and to others.

I am also delighted to share some exciting news with our community.

Please join me in welcoming Mr Troy McKinnon as Pulteney Grammar School’s next Deputy Principal, commencing at the beginning of Term 4.

Troy brings more than 25 years of experience in education, including almost ten years as a member of the Executive team at Prince Alfred College. More importantly, he is a warm and thoughtful leader who cares deeply about young people and the communities they belong to.

Throughout the appointment process, it was clear that Troy’s values align strongly with those of Pulteney. He was an outstanding candidate, and I know he will make a wonderful contribution to our School.

Troy, his wife Danielle and their family are very much looking forward to joining the Pulteney community. Over the coming months, you will have the opportunity to meet them, and I know you will make them feel incredibly welcome.

Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support of our School. I look forward to seeing many of you around our beautiful campus in the weeks ahead.
