What will be in the course?
Students will develop and apply linguistic and intercultural knowledge, understanding, and skills through the study of such topics as: stereotypes and identity, immigration, school and further study, social media and the environment. They will interact with others to exchange information, ideas, experiences and opinions in Chinese. They will create texts in Chinese and analyse a range of texts in Chinese to interpret meaning. They will also examine relationships between language, culture, and identity, and reflect on the ways in which culture influences communication.
