Sport: Junior School, Term 4 Week 3 2026
Congratulations to our Year 6 boys who represented Pulteney in the Statewide Basketball Small Schools Competition, finishing 5th in the state, a fantastic achievement! The team produced an outstanding performance throughout the day, losing just one match against some strong opposition. Their determination, teamwork and competitive spirit were on full display, and they should be incredibly proud of their efforts.
A big thank you to Lukass Blicavs for coaching the team and supporting the boys throughout the competition. It was a terrific result and a great reflection of the growth of basketball at Pulteney. With the talent, enthusiasm and commitment we are seeing across our junior teams, the future of Pulteney basketball is certainly in a great place!

Year 6 PE Excursion
Our Year 6 students enjoyed a fantastic day at Flinders University last Wednesday, participating in the Sports4Fun program organised by the university’s final-year Sports Management students. The program provided students with the opportunity to get active, try new activities and develop their skills across football, soccer and European handball.
A highlight of the day was a special visit from Jonny Yull of Adelaide United, who joined the students for a Q&A session and signed posters, providing a memorable experience for our aspiring young athletes.
With beautiful weather, plenty of enthusiasm and lots of new skills learned along the way, it was a wonderful day for everyone involved. A big thank you to the Flinders University students for organising such an engaging and enjoyable experience for our Year 6 students!
