Uniform guide
Please refer to the Junior School cocurricular sport uniform guide for information about the 2026 uniform requirements for co-curricular sport. Please ensure your child has the correct uniform and protective equipment for their chosen sport(s).
Student collection
To ensure all students are safe and accounted for at the conclusion of each training session, please collect students from the designated areas rather than their actual training location.
Reception: Kurrajong under croft at 4.30pm
Year 1 and 2: Kurrajong play yard at 4.45pm
Year 3 – 6: Prep basketball court at 4.45pm
If you do need to collect your child directly from a training session, please communicate this with me prior to the training.
Key dates for Junior School Sport / PE
Term 3:
Week 1 – All Junior Sport begins
Week 5 – Final week of all Year 3-6 Sport (excluding Athletics and Martial Arts)
Week 6 & 7 – No sport training or matches for Y3-6 (excluding Athletics and Martial Arts)
Week 7 – Junior Sport Winter Assembly (Friday 4 September, 8.45am)
Week 8 & 9 – Year 3-6 Summer Sport preseason trainings
Week 9 – All Junior Sport concludes

Please see below some of the key dates for SAPSASA this term. Families of students selected for listed events will be notified by email and receive further information at this time.
Term 3:
Week 3 – Metro Soccer State Carnival
Week 4 – Statewide Schools Boys + Girls Basketball (Tuesday 11 September)
– East Adelaide Athletics Carnival (Friday 14 September)
Week 6 – East Adelaide Girls Football trials
Week 8 – East Adelaide Cricket Trials
– State Track and Field Championships
Week 9 – SAPSASA State Hockey Carnival (Wednesday 16 – Friday 18 September)
Congratulations
Daniel M (Y6) who competed in the 2026 SA Pool Rescue State Championships, competing for Glenelg Surf Life Saving Club. Daniel received a gold medal in the U11 Brick Carry Relay, a silver medal in the U11 Medley Relay and a silver medal U11 Obstacle Relay. Well done Daniel, a wonderful achievement.

Sascha P and Dimi A (Y6) who have both been selected to represent East Adelaide at the Metro Soccer State Carnival in Week 3. We wish them both all the very best for the carnival.
Rueben T and Ben D (Y5) who both competed in the South Australian Interschools Snowsport Championships at Falls Creek over the holidays. Both boys just missed the medals but represented Pulteney with pride. Well done boys!

12 years and under State Team trials
If you child is interested in trialling for a 12 and Under State Team in their chosen sport, please visit the SA School Sport website to find more information. Nominations and trials are done externally and are not school based activities.
