Statewide Schools Soccer Competition
Last Friday, our Year 5/6 Boys team represented Pulteney in the Statewide Schools Soccer competition. The opening match was an absolute thriller against Rose Park Primary. After an intense game that couldn’t be decided in extra time, the boys held their nerve in a penalty shootout to claim a memorable win. They then faced two very strong opponents in St Francis Lockleys and West Lakes Shores. Both games proved extremely challenging, but the team showed great resilience and determination throughout.
Well done to all the boys for their effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship on the day. A big thank you to all the families that came out to support the team.
Equestrian
We are thrilled to congratulate Year 6 student Ali S on her incredible achievement in being selected to represent Team SA at the Marcus Oldham 2025 Interschools Nationals, to be held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre from September 23–28.
Ali will compete in the following events:
- Working Hunter – a multi-phase event incorporating ridden, rider, led, and jumping elements.
- Combined Training (45cm & 60cm) – a discipline that blends the precision of a dressage test with the challenge of a show jumping course.
- Straight Show Jumping (70cm) – three rounds of jumping over different courses across three days.
This is an outstanding opportunity, and we are extremely proud of Ali’s hard work, commitment, and passion for equestrian sport. We wish her all the best as she prepares for Nationals.
