Friday 6 March
Arrival – Athletics Carnival
All students from Reception to Year 6 are to go to their classrooms at 8.20am on Friday 6 March to prepare for the day before walking to Vaughton Oval with their teachers. After dropping children at School, parents and caregivers are invited to make their way to the seated area around Vaughton Oval.
Event Participation, Breaks, Dismissal and After Athletics Carnival Care
All Junior School students (Reception to Year 6) will participate in events from 9.15am–12.30pm.
- Reception to Year 2 students will have two breaks: 10.10am and 11.10am in the R-Yr 2 marquees
- Years 3 to 6 students will have a recess break at 10.30am
At the conclusion of the Athletics Carnival, students will be dismissed directly into their parent or caregiver’s care. Parents and caregivers are asked to collect their child from their class teacher, who will maintain a record of student movement. Students must remain with their teacher until their parent or caregiver arrives.
For families who are unable to collect their child at 12.30pm, supervision will be available at the School from 12.30pm – 3.20pm. It is essential that you advise the School in advance if your child will require care. Please do so by completing the online form HERE.
Please note, if your child also requires OSHC (care after 3.20pm), this will need to be booked separately in the usual way.
