Sport: Junior School, Term 1 Week 1 2026
Welcome back to all our families and students for the 2026 school year. I hope everyone has enjoyed a refreshing break and is looking forward to another exciting year of Junior Sport at Pulteney.
All Junior Sport training sessions will resume in Week 2, with most competitive fixtures scheduled to begin in Week 3. Team selections and allocations will be finalised by the end of Week 2 and visible through the Pulteney App.
Training sessions for all sports are now live on the Pulteney App, and fixtures will be added as they are received from the relevant sporting organisations. Please continue to check the app regularly for updates.

Key dates for Junior School Sport / PE – Term 1
Week 2 – All Junior Sport begins
Week 6 – Junior School Athletics Carnival / Sports Day (a schedule of events will be communicated in coming weeks)
Week 9 – Year 1-4 Swimming lessons at Immanuel College (Tues-Fri)
Week 9 – All Junior Sport concludes
SAPSASA / Statewide Schools (Year 4 – 6)
Please see below some of the key dates for SAPSASA this term. Families of students selected for listed events will be notified by email and receive further information at this time.
Week 4 – East Adelaide softball trials
Week 6 – East Adelaide swimming trials
Week 7 – East Adelaide boys football (Aussie Rules) trials
Week 9 – State Swimming Championships / State Softball Carnival
12 years and under State Team trials
If you child is interested in trialling for a 12 and Under State Team in their chosen sport, please visit the SA School Sport website to find more information. Nominations and trials are done externally and are not school based activities.
