Pulteney eSports – Fuse Cup Term 2 Competition

We are excited to announce that Pulteney students will once again be participating in the Fuse Cup eSports Competition during Week 10 this term.
Fuse Cup is an interschool eSports competition in which students represent Pulteney against other South Australian schools in organised team-based gaming competitions including Mario Kart, Rocket League, Just Dance and Super Smash Bros.
Following the significant level of interest this term, students recently participated in a structured selection process based on attendance, teamwork, sportsmanship, communication, reliability and demonstrated game competency.
As the Term 1 sessions operated in a more casual and open participation format, some students who regularly attended may now have been invited to participate in the formal competition teams. If your child’s involvement comes as a surprise or you would prefer that they not participate, please feel very welcome to contact me directly.
Further information, consent forms and confirmation emails will be distributed to participating families shortly.

Competition Information

Tuesday 23 June – Week 10
Years 5–8 Just Dance Gala Day
Hosted at Pulteney Grammar School in Wyatt Hall
Competition time: 9:15am – 2:30pm
Students will be released from class at approximately 9:10am and will remain on site for the duration of the event. Students will have an adjusted lunchtime arrangement and will return to normal school routines before the end of the day.
Wednesday 24 June – Week 10
Years 5–8 Mario Kart and Rocket League Gala Day
Immanuel College – Discovery Centre
Competition time: 9:10am – 2:30pm
Students will travel to and from the venue by school transport and are expected to wear full school uniform and bring their own lunch. We anticipate returning to school before the end of the school day.
Thursday 25 June – Week 10
Years 9–12 Mario Kart, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros Gala Day
Immanuel College – Discovery Centre
Competition time: 8:45am – 2:30pm
Students will travel to and from the venue by school transport and are expected to wear full school uniform and bring their own lunch. Additional details regarding departure times and transport arrangements will be provided shortly.
