Senior School, Term 3 Week 8 2025
Welcome to Week 8 at Pulteney. Please be aware of the following:
Year 10 2026
This morning, we welcomed Year 9 parents and caregivers to the Senior School for the Year 10 2026 Information Session and Tour. It was a valuable opportunity to share information about pastoral care, curriculum pathways, and expectations for the year ahead. The chance to ask questions and see the Senior School in action helps families feel informed and supported as they look toward the senior years.
Wednesday 10 September: Learning Conferences
We thank all families who attended our Learner Conferences on Tuesday, 2 September. Your participation and engagement were appreciated.
We now look forward to the second round of conferences on Wednesday, 10 September. This provides another valuable opportunity for families and teachers to connect, reflect on student progress, celebrate achievements, and discuss next steps for growth.
Our staff are eager to continue these conversations and appreciate the ongoing support of all families in helping to make these conferences a positive and productive experience for our students.
Senior School Wellbeing Program
On Monday 15 September all our Senior School students will be working with Paul Dillon from Drug and Alcohol Research Training Australia (DARTA) during the course of the day. Pulteney has been working with Paul for a number of years and is regarded as a world leader in drug education. Paul’s bio can be seen here.
A link to Paul’s topics is included here
We look forward to working with Paul to facilitate these important conversations with our senior students.
Year 12 Trial Examinations
Trial examinations are an important part of preparing for final Year 12 assessments. They give students a realistic experience of the exam environment, helping to reduce anxiety and identify areas for further study and improvement.
The timetable for the Trial Examinations has now been finalised and is available HERE. We encourage all students to review the schedule carefully to prepare effectively and make the most of this valuable opportunity.
