Welcome to Week 6. There is much happening at Pulteney.
Tuesday 18 & Thursday 20 August: Winter Intercollegiate Cup
It was great to see the Pulteney community come together for the Winter Intercollegiate Cup against St John’s Grammar.
Across both days, our students showed plenty of navy blue spirit, proudly supporting their peers and creating a positive atmosphere around the fixtures.
It was equally pleasing to see our students compete with enthusiasm, determination and respect, representing Pulteney in the right way and demonstrating good sportsmanship throughout.
The Intercol is about more than the results – it is about community, belonging and taking pride in being part of something bigger than ourselves.
Thank you to all of our students, staff and families who contributed to making the Intercol such a positive experience. We look forward to building on this great new tradition.
Thursday 20 August: Gig @ The Gov
Congratulations to all staff and students who were involved in the recent Gig @ The Gov. It was pleasing to see a range of students across all year levels perform with enthusiasm and talent. I have spoken with a number of Year 12 students who felt a great deal of pride in performing at their final Gig @ The Gov. Thank you to all families who support our music program and who attended this event.
Tuesday 1 September and Thursday 3 September: Learning Conferences
Bookings for Learner Conferences on these dates are a combination of online and face to face meetings. We warmly invite families to take part in our upcoming Learning Conferences in Week 7 of this term. These conversations are an important opportunity to connect with teachers, celebrate progress, and work together to support each student’s learning journey.
Tuesday 8 September 9.00am-10.00am: Year 9 into Year 10 Parent information Session
Current Year 9 parents are invited to attend an information session to support the transition from Middle to Senior School. The morning will include a tour of the Senior School, an overview of the transition plan, curriculum and expectations for the senior years, and information from Heads of House about student development, academics and pastoral care. There will also be an opportunity for parents to ask questions. Please register attendance HERE.
Osmond St Cafe
This Friday, our Year 10 Creative Industries students will be selling coffees and other products at the Osmond St Café. Please come along and enjoy a hot drink, some conversation and support our students. I hope to see you there.
