Welcome to Week 4 at Pulteney. Please note the following:

Student Leadership

Last week, our Year 11 students received information about the Student Leadership process at Pulteney. All students who aspire for leadership within our School are encouraged to apply. As part of the process, students are asked to reflect on their:

• understanding of and commitment to the values of the School.
• effort and engagement towards learning.
• positive contribution to the School.
• demonstrated prior leadership.

Although this is an exciting period, inevitably, some students will not be selected as a School Leader. We understand that missing out on a School leadership position can be disappointing for students. These roles often symbolize a chance to grow and contribute, so not being selected can feel discouraging. As a community, it is important that we support students in channelling their leadership potential in a range of meaningful ways.

Students are encouraged to speak with their Head of House or myself with any queries.

 Intercollegiate Cup: Tuesday 18 & Thursday 20 August

As the Intercollegiate Cup approaches, we want to highlight what an exciting event this is on our school calendar and a unique opportunity for our community to continue building on a new and meaningful tradition.

Students who are not directly competing are strongly encouraged to attend as supporters, helping to create a positive and spirited atmosphere. All non-competing students are required to attend in full formal uniform, including blazers, to proudly represent the Navy Blue spirit.

We look forward to seeing our students come together and display the enthusiasm and pride that define Pulteney Grammar.

Year 12 Trial Examinations

Trial examinations are an important step in preparing for final Year 12 assessments. They provide students with a realistic experience of the exam environment, helping to reduce anxiety and identify areas for further study and improvement.

The timetable for the Trial Examinations has now been approved and is below. We encourage all students to review the schedule carefully to prepare effectively and make the most of this valuable opportunity.

Coffee in The Quad

Students will be performing in The Quad this Friday. Our groups are always encouraged when community members attend to enjoy their performances. Please drop by to appreciate the wonderful efforts of our talented students and enjoy a coffee. I hope to see you there.
