Senior School, Term 3 Week 2 2026

I hope the second week of term has started positively for you and your family. It has been wonderful to see students settled into the routines of Semester 2 and engaging positively in their learning and the many opportunities available across the Senior School.

Subject Selection 2027

Our current Year 10 and Year 11 students have also been working through the final stages of the subject selection process. Thank you to all parents and caregivers for the support and guidance you have provided your child throughout this important process. Selecting subjects is an exciting opportunity for students to reflect on their interests, strengths and future aspirations.

If you have any questions regarding your child’s subject selections, please contact your child’s Head of House, who will be happy to assist.

Wednesday 29 July: Swimming Carnival

Tomorrow, we look forward to our annual Swimming Carnival, one of the highlights of the School calendar.

The Swimming Carnival provides opportunities for every student to contribute to their House, whether through competitive swimming events, novelty races or supporting their peers throughout the day. It is always wonderful to see students embracing House spirit, encouraging one another and participating with enthusiasm.

I look forward to seeing the sense of community, participation and House pride that makes this event such a special occasion.

Student Leadership 2027

Today I introduced the 2027 Student Leadership process to our current Year 11 students. Student leadership is an important opportunity for young people to make a meaningful contribution to our School community while developing their own leadership skills, confidence and capacity to serve others.

Over the coming days, Year 11 students will receive further information about the application process, timelines and leadership positions available. Information will also be shared with Year 11 parents and caregivers so that families can support students as they consider this exciting opportunity.

I look forward to seeing many students embrace the challenge of leadership and the opportunity to positively shape the Pulteney community in 2027.
