Senior School, Term 2 Week 10 2026
As we reach the final week of Semester 1, I would like to thank families for your continued support throughout the year. It has been a positive and productive semester for our students, and we look forward to the opportunities that Semester 2 will bring.
Tuesday 16 June – Friday 19 June: Year 11 Exam Week
Congratulations to our Year 11 students on completing their mid-year exams. The commitment and preparation shown by the cohort were impressive, and I know this experience will serve them well in both their future assessments and their broader learning journey.
Monday 22 June – Friday 26 June
This week, our Year 11 students are out on Work Experience placements. These opportunities allow students to explore areas of interest beyond the classroom and gain a real-world perspective. I am confident they will be excellent ambassadors for Pulteney, and I look forward to hearing their reflections when they return in Term 3.
Friday 27 June: Coffee in The Lane
This Friday offers a final chance this term to connect informally with other Pulteney families. Come along and enjoy a performance by our students and take the opportunity to share a coffee and conversation. We hope to see you there.
Friday 27 June: Assembly
To close the term, we will gather for a final School Assembly. This will be a time to acknowledge and celebrate the many achievements of the semester. Students are asked to wear their formal uniform, including blazer, on this day.
Term 3, Weeks 1 & 2: Subject Selection
Following the Subject Selection Showcase earlier this term, students have now submitted their initial subject preferences for 2027. The next stage of the process involves individual subject selection meetings, where students will confirm their final choices for next year.
Students will be required to complete a Subject Selection Form prior to their appointment and have it signed by a parent or caregiver. Further details, including appointment times and relevant documentation, will be provided directly to families via email.
We thank families for their support as students make informed decisions about their learning pathway for 2027.
Wednesday 29 July: Swimming Carnival
We are looking forward to the Senior School Swimming Carnival on Wednesday of Week 2, Term 3. The carnival is always a highlight of the school calendar, providing students with an opportunity to represent their House, build House spirit, and contribute to the strong sense of community that exists within the Senior School.
The day offers a range of opportunities for students to participate, whether through competitive swimming events, novelty activities, House challenges, or by supporting and encouraging their peers. We encourage all students to become involved and contribute to the positive atmosphere that makes the carnival such an enjoyable occasion.
As a normal school day and an important whole-school event, attendance at the Swimming Carnival is expected for all students.
I hope you have a lovely break, and I look forward to seeing you soon.
