Senior School, Term 2 Week 1 2026
The term has commenced smoothly, and it has been pleasing to welcome students back and engage in positive, thoughtful conversations as they return to school life. It was also heartening to see students presenting with pride in their winter uniform, which not only reflects respect for our school community but also reinforces a sense of belonging.
This Saturday, our School Prefects will attend the ANZAC Day Dawn Service this at the Unley Memorial Gardens. They will lay wreaths to honour those from our community who have served and lost their lives in conflict. Their presence will reflect a deep respect for the significance of the occasion and a strong connection to our wider community.
Please note the following upcoming events:
Thursday 23 April: Rungie Cup Cross Country
Students have the opportunity to proudly represent their House and contribute points towards the Rungie Cup during this House event. It is a chance for students to show their team spirit and commitment to their House community. All competitors are reminded to wear their full PE Uniform along with their House Top to show pride on the day. Any students with questions about the event, including uniform requirements or participation details, are encouraged to speak directly with their Head of House.
Thursday 7 May: The South Australia Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) Road Awareness Program
The MFS will be presenting to our Year 11 students. This is a valuable opportunity for our students to receive honest and straightforward messaging designed to help keep them safe on the roads. This program is delivered by the MFS and will focus on:
- good attitudes, smart decision making and safe behaviours
- the dangers of excessive speeds, distractions and driving under the influence
- being a responsible passenger and pedestrian
- becoming a responsible driver
The consent form for this important program can be found HERE.
I hope your child enjoys their first week back at Pulteney and I look forward to seeing you in the coming days.
