Senior School, Term 1 Week 2 2026
It has been a pleasure to see our Senior School students return and quickly settle back into the rhythm of life at Pulteney. The positive energy around the sub-school has been evident, and I have been particularly encouraged by the way our Year 12 students have stepped into their leadership roles. The Class of 2025 have set a welcoming, respectful tone, and it has been lovely to see students new to the Senior School so readily supported by their peers. This sense of care, connection, and belonging is a defining strength of our community.
This morning, we also gathered for our traditional High Achievers’ Assembly, welcoming back some of our newest Old Scholars. It was a special opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2025 and to acknowledge the commitment and discipline that underpinned their results. While their ATAR outcomes are impressive, what stands out most is the way this cohort contributed to Pulteney more broadly, through academic endeavour, the arts, sport, service, and leadership. They supported one another, strengthened our community, and embodied the values we hope every student carries with them beyond school.
As we recognise the accomplishments of our highest achievers, we also acknowledge the growth, perseverance, and resilience shown by the entire Class of 2025.
Looking ahead, our Welcome Evening will be held on Thursday 5 February. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and caregivers to meet Pulteney staff and connect with other families within our community. A number of staff, including our Senior School Heads of House, will be in attendance and are looking forward to speaking with you. I hope to see many of you there.
