Pulteney Crowned FUSE Cup Champions

Congratulations to our Pulteney FUSE Cup students on an outstanding tournament, bringing home multiple titles and representing the School with pride throughout this year’s competition.

Across three tournament days, our junior and senior teams competed against students from more than ten Adelaide schools, demonstrating not only exceptional gaming ability but also teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship.

We are delighted to congratulate our individual champions:

One of the highlights of the tournament was the recognition our students received for their character. Across all three competition days, Pulteney students earned two of the three MVP Awards, an honour recognising exceptional sportsmanship, maturity and positive encouragement of fellow competitors. Congratulations  to James Perkins and Kasper Kabacinski on this well deserved achievement and for representing Pulteney so admirably.

While the trophies were certainly exciting, the true highlight was witnessing the camaraderie within our team. Whether celebrating victories, encouraging one another after difficult matches or simply enjoying the experience together, our students embodied the supportive culture that makes the FUSE Cup such a rewarding event. The accompanying photos capture just a small glimpse of the friendships and team spirit that developed throughout the competition.

Finally, a special congratulations goes to the Pulteney staff, who managed to win the teachers’ Mario Kart event. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, this achievement came with bragging rights only and no official silverware!
