Valedictory 2026

Thank you to all our student performers, ensembles and directors for their musical contributions to Valedictory 2026 to ensure such a memorable and professional day. It was a wonderful celebration of our Year 12 Class of 2026 and a fitting celebration of their time at Pulteney.

All our student performers were well-prepared, calm and focused, and performed with outstanding musicianship – many would not have been out of place at a professional-level performance. The fact that our Year 12 students were able to perform with such confidence and joy on the day, despite the exhaustion and emotion they no doubt would have been feeling, is a testament to the incredible Performing Arts culture.

What a fabulous moment for Henry Tran, Henry Green, Patrick Longden, Billy Rowan and Scarlett Lamb in “Seasons of Love”. Their performance drew cheers of appreciation and a standing ovation from their Year 12 peers. Jazz on the Terrace 1, Senior Drum Corps, Pulteney String Orchestra, and our feature soloists Darcy Carr, Mary Butcher, Maicher Ren, Polly Schubert and Nektaria Mavragelos all contributed in such a professional manner to the special day.

Sincere thanks to our music staff for their tireless work and encouragement of our ensembles; Katia Labozzetta, Tom Cole, Frank Fragomeni, Katherine Quirk and Meredith Wilson, as well as our incredible AV team of Nathan Schubert, Andy Voigt, and Mosaic in ensuring a professional and seamless Valedictory day for our Year 12s and their families.

Year 12 Ensemble and Performance Expectations

While our Year 12 students have now completed their formal lessons, they are still expected to attend all remaining rehearsals and performances as outlined by their Ensemble Directors and fulfil any outstanding performance commitments.

Students are asked to communicate directly with their Ensemble Directors to ensure they are aware of any upcoming exams or other commitments that may affect their availability. We also remind students that school uniform must be worn when attending rehearsals on campus.

We greatly appreciate the time, dedication and commitment our Year 12 students have contributed to the Performing Arts program throughout their time at Pulteney and thank them for their continued support as they complete their final performance commitments.

Full Circle Theatre Co. – “Catch Me If You Can”

Congratulations to three members of our Pulteney community who have been cast in Full Circle Theatre Co.’s inaugural production of Catch Me If You Can! Addi Schwartz and Madi Schubert are both Pulteney Old Scholars and current Dance Tutors, while Patrick Longden is our current School Captain.

Adding to the excitement, Full Circle Theatre Co. was founded by our very own Musical Director, Jo Casson! As Adelaide’s first music theatre company dedicated to presenting professional local musical productions, Full Circle Theatre Co. is all about showcasing the incredible talent of South Australian artists and theatre makers, creating productions for South Australian audiences.

Don’t miss out on seeing this wonderful production in full flight!! Tickets come in First Class, Business Class, and Economy — something for every budget with all the quality of a professional show but half the price of a big touring production.

You can expect a full onstage band, sweeping big-band orchestrations, and a story that’s equal parts high-stakes chase and coming-of-age tale — brought to life by a cast and creative team of exceptional South Australian talent. This is a fabulous musical comedy with incredible music inspired by The Rat Pack and written by the same team who wrote Hairspray!

Tickets are ON SALE NOW!
