A reminder that all Junior School Performing Arts co-curricular activities have finished for this term. They will resume Week 1, Term 4.

Middle & Senior School

Performing Arts co-curricular activities are still running this week and will then commence in Week 1, Term 4.

How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying – Movie Night!

We hope you will join us TONIGHT for a special cinema screening of this year’s musical production, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, at the Regal Theatre, Kensington. The screening will commence at 7.00pm and will include an interval.

2027 Musical Reveal

Our annual Middle and Senior School Musical Production Reveal is back! Yesterday, we kicked off the reveal, with the first group of Playbills removed from the Nicholls Foyer window. More Playbills will be removed each lunchtime at 1.15pm, with the suspense continuing to build throughout the week until the final reveal at the Performing Arts Awards Night this Thursday 24 September! For students who are not eligible to attend the Awards Night, the big reveal will be on display in the Nicholls Foyer window when they arrive at school on Friday morning.

Make sure you also keep an eye on our socials throughout the week to watch the reveal unfold and see if you can guess what our 2027 Musical Production will be!

House Performing Arts Competition

This Friday afternoon, we will hold our annual House Performing Arts Competition, where all four Houses will present two performances – one in the In-It-To-Win-It round and one in the Championship round. These competitions are always hotly contested, with plenty of House points on the line and lots of energy, creativity and House spirit on display.

It is always such a fun event and a fantastic way to finish the term. I cannot wait to see what each House brings to the stage!

Performing Arts Management Term 4

The incredibly high-performing Annie Kwok will manage Middle and Senior School Performing Arts, while Michelle McGill will manage the Junior School. Laura Brougham will also be here to assist wherever needed.

A special thought goes to our graduating Year 12 Performing Arts students. These amazing young people have worked incredibly hard and given so much to our Performing Arts community over many years. I look forward to acknowledging and thanking them this Thursday night at the 2026 Performing Arts Awards Night.

At this wonderful event, we will hear from our Principal, our current Performing Arts Captains, myself, and our special guest speakers, The 60 Four. Fresh from their television appearance on The Voice, as well as recently returning from two weeks of performing in Scotland, we cannot wait to hear them sing for us before they deliver their guest address.

It promises to be a wonderful evening of celebration, recognition and thanks, particularly for our graduating Year 12 students.

I wish you all a wonderful Term 4, a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. I will return to work on Monday 18 January 2027.

Choral Concert (Week 2, Term 4)

Save the Date! On Monday 19 October we will be presenting our annual Choral Concert in the Chapel from 4.00-5.15pm.

• Senior Concert Choir

* JOTT 1 will not be performing due to Year 12 AT3 Ensemble Performance

Please note the following special requirements:

• Students have been released from Monday afternoon sport co-curriculars; please ensure coaches are aware
• Normal school uniform – no formal uniform. PE uniform is fine if students have the lesson or related co-curricular during the day
• This concert has been placed specifically to support Year 12 House Dinners in Week 1 and Week 2

No tickets are required for this event. Simply come along and enjoy a wonderful afternoon celebrating our talented Pulteney choirs.

Instrumental Music and Drama Program

Pulteney’s Performing Arts Department offers private tuition for a range of instruments as well as voice and drama lessons.

Applications for this year opened in December 2025 and have been finalised, however students from Reception right through to Year 12 can enrol at any time across the year. If an instrument, type of lesson or teacher is already fully booked, we can place your child on a waiting list until a lesson becomes available.
