Winter Music Festival
This Saturday 21 June we will be holding our annual Winter Music Festival event, where several hundred of our students will perform across three concerts on the one day. All concerts will take place in Wyatt Hall. The starting times are fixed and finishing times are approximate.
Please see details below regarding the concerts and which students are involved:
Junior School Concert 3.00-4.00pm
- Junior String Ensemble, Junior String Stars Ensemble, Junior Percussion Ensemble, Junior Concert Band, Junior Drum Corps, Guitar Ensemble, Year 7 Strings Trio, Nicholls String Quartet, and guest performances by Charles Rogers-Kang, JOTT 2 and Lucy Allen
Choral Concert 5.00-6.15pm
- Junior Kurrajong Choir, Junior Year 3/4 Concert Choir, Junior Year 5/6 Concert Choir, Grammarphones, JOTT 2
- Senior Concert Choir will perform as part of the combined choir performance at the end of this concert
Middle and Senior School Concert 7.00-9.00pm
- JOTT 1, Senior Concert Choir, Senior Handbell Ensemble, Senior Concert Band, Intermediate Drum Corps, Senior Drum Corps, Emily Puah, Wheaton String Quartet and Pulteney String Orchestra
The Friends of Performing Arts (FoPA) Committee are providing a BBQ, Soup Kitchen and Bar from 4.00-7.00pm in the Graham Lange Centre. Special guest, John McCall, will also be providing some outdoor entertainment.
Please come along, say hello, and watch some wonderful live music form our students in Reception right through to Year 12. While you’re here have a burger or snag and beverage!
TICKETS!
Adult tickets cost $10.00 each. Non-performing students are welcome to attend free of charge. Please note that children aged 4 and above will require their own ticket, and we kindly ask that children 3 and under sit on a parent or caregiver’s lap. Performing students do not need a ticket.
Please note that due to ticketing constraints a separate ticket is required for each concert. If you plan to attend more than one, be sure to purchase individual tickets by clicking on the corresponding concert names below. Ticket numbers are limited for each event – please refer to the limits listed below:
- 3 tickets per performing student
- 2 tickets per performing student
- Senior Concert Choir will perform as part of the combined choir performance at the end of this concert. However, their main performance will be in the Middle and Senior School Concert and we kindly ask parents to purchase tickets to that concert (below)

Year 3C Strings and Year 5C and 5D Band Immersion Program Event
On Thursday 19 June, week 8, we are holding our Semester 1 Concerts in the Chapel. Please see year level and concert times below:
- Year 3C Strings: 5.30-6.15pm
- Year 5C & 5D Band: 6.15-7.00pm
This is a free event and tickets are not required. We hope to see all parents and some grandparents at this fun event.
Year 10/11 Drama Productions
In Week 8, the Year 10 and 11 Drama classes will proudly present their Semester One productions. With a collective cast & crew of 15 talented students, this is set to be an entertaining evening of laughter and thought-provoking theatre.
The performance will be held on Thursday 19 June (Week 8, Term 2) at Holden Street Theatres (34 Holden St, Hindmarsh). Tickets are $10. Pulteney students can attend for free; please check your emails for a special access code.

Co-Curricular News
A reminder that all Junior School Performing Arts Co-Curricular activities finish this week and will not run in week 9. They will resume in Week 2, Term 3
Semester 1 Junior Year 3/4 Drama Club & Junior Year 5/6 Drama Club will conclude this week.
Semester 2 Junior Year 3/4 Drama Club & Junior Year 5/6 Drama Club will commence in Week 2, Term 3, and will run for Term 3 and Term 4.
Instrumental Music/Drama Program
Pulteney’s Performing Arts Department offers private tuition for a range of instruments as well as voice and drama lessons.
Applications for this year opened in December 2024 and were finalised early Term 1, however students from Reception right through to Year 12 can enrol at any time across the year. If an instrument, type of lesson or teacher is already fully booked, we can place your child on a waiting list until a lesson becomes available.
