We are seeking prize donations, so if you can contribute wine, electronic goods, or other substantial items, please let me know or drop them off to my office in the Nicholls (ground floor). We hope to have all prizes finalised by Week 4, Term 2.

ANZAC Commemorative Music Tour
After a significant amount of work to re-route this tour away from the Middle East (due to the US/Israeli/Iran conflict), we are pleased that it will proceed, albeit with a slightly revised itinerary. The tour will depart on Monday 13 April, travelling to Sydney, then Dallas (USA), and finally to London, where the tour officially begins. Following an extended itinerary of two additional days, we will return via Paris to Perth and then Adelaide on Wednesday 29 April.
During the tour, we will commemorate 12 fallen Old Scholars, five of whom served in WWII as part of RAF Bomber Command, with the remainder serving in the AIF in Northern France and Belgium. It is a profound privilege and honour to commemorate these individuals. To stand at their graves, share their stories of how they came to rest so far from Australia, recite the Ode, and perform the Last Post is a moving and humbling experience that ensures their sacrifice is remembered and honoured.
We will also take part in several significant ceremonies, including the La Flamme ceremony under the Arc de Triomphe, the Fromelles ANZAC Service, and the Last Post Ceremony at Menin Gate in Ypres. In addition, we will perform at the Chelsea Pensioners’ home for returned soldiers in London, the community market at Villers-Bretonneux, the Old Scholars’ Dinner in London, and the Fromelles Community Hall concert.
Coffee in the Quad
This Friday, we have several of our current SACE Stage 1 and 2 Music students who will entertain you while you enjoy a fresh hot brew from Tony the Barista. Please come along and have a chat. The music starts at 7.50am and concludes at 8.20am. I hope to see you in the Quad this Friday morning.
Dance Soiree
We are very excited to present our 2026 Dance Soirée this Monday 30 March at 5.00pm in Wyatt Hall. It is an excellent opportunity for some of our dancers to showcase solos and duets, along with our Middle School Dance Troupe BLUE. FoPA will also be running a bar at the event from 4.30pm, so we encourage you to come along and enjoy the show.
We extend a special invitation to our current Junior School Co-Curricular dancers to attend. This is a free event, and all are welcome to attend.
Year 3 String and Year 5 Immersion Program – Progress Performance Update
We are delighted to share that our Immersion Programs (Year 3 Strings and Year 5 Band) Progress Performance will take place on Friday 1 May (Week 2, Term 2) as part of the Junior School Assembly. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase the skills they have been developing so far this year.
All students are required to bring their instruments and music to school on this day.

On Saturday 13 June, our three Winter Concerts will take place in Wyatt Hall:
- 3.00pm Choral Concert
- 5.00pm Junior School Concert
- 7.00pm Middle & Senior School Concert
The evening concert will feature the Pulteney School Orchestra, with Lucas Truong performing the Grieg Piano Concerto in A Minor (1st Movement), alongside several of our recent Old Scholars who will be joining us for this special performance.
We will announce which student groups will be performing in each concert next week. In the meantime, please save the date to ensure you and your children are available for this important and wonderful day.
