Thursday 5 March: Middle and Senior School Sports Day
- Senior Handbell Ensemble, Stage Band 2, and Middle School Dance Troupe BLUE will rehearse before school as usual.

- JOTT 2 lunchtime rehearsal will be cancelled.
Friday 6 March: Junior School Sports Day
- Junior Year 5/6 Dance Troupe WHITE and the Junior Percussion Ensemble will run before school as usual.
No co-curricular activities will run on Monday 9 March, due to the Public Holiday.
ANZAC Commemorative Tour – Holiday Rehearsals
Tuesday 7 April 10.00am – 4.00pm (Wyatt Hall)
- This will be an additional rehearsal for the ANZAC Tour group. We are slightly behind where we had hoped to be at this stage, so an extra rehearsal day is required. Students are to bring their own packed lunch and water to this rehearsal day.
Wednesday 8 April 9.00am – 5.00pm (Wyatt Hall)
- This is our scheduled final rehearsal and preparation day for the tour. All students are required to attend in full winter uniform, as this will be the uniform worn on tour.
- We will also be taking photographs and video footage at the North Terrace War Memorial and during rehearsal on this day.
Head of the River – Senior Drum Corps
Once again, our Senior Drum Corps will be supporting our rowers at the Head of the River event at West Lakes. Students are to arrive in sports uniform, including a hat (essential). Please ensure students bring their own food and water, as it is often a long and hot day in the sun. There will also be opportunities for students to purchase food and drinks at their own expense. The drums will be transported to the venue in advance, and we will arrange their return to school the following week.
Students are to meet Mr Fragomeni at the Pulteney Rowing Shed at West Lakes at 8.30am. Parents are asked to arrange collection at approximately 2.00pm. I encourage students to have their own mobile phone with them to assist with afternoon pick-up arrangements.
If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Dance Performance Opportunity – Dance Soiree
Are you a dancer? We are excited to be giving our Dance students more performance opportunities this year with the return of the Dance Soirée. This event will be held on the evening of Monday 30 March (Term 1, Week 10). The focus of this performance will be solo, duo or trio items that students are invited to perform in a casual setting in Wyatt Hall. All styles and genres of dance are welcome, and students of all ages are encouraged to apply. This could be a routine that the student has prepared at their dance school or, for some of our Senior students, an opportunity to present their own choreography. BYO costume or appropriate dance attire.
Please register your interest by emailing Rosy Dobré with your name, year level, item, style, and duration. Places are limited, so be sure to submit your application promptly. The closing date for applications is this Friday 6 March (Term 1, Week 6).
“How To Succeed in Business” Musical Production – Parent Assistance
On Sunday 22 March, we will be holding a Costumes/Sewing Day to begin preparing the costumes for the show. If you are available and would like to volunteer your time, please contact Laura Brougham for further details and dust off your sewing kit, irons or hot glue guns! Some experience will come in handy!
Last year, we were supported by a wonderful group of dedicated and hardworking parents who assisted with a range of costume tasks that were invaluable to the success of the production. It was a productive and enjoyable day for everyone involved, and we would love to see many helpers join us again this year.
Instrumental Music and Drama Program
Pulteney’s Performing Arts Department offers private tuition for a range of instruments as well as voice and drama lessons.
Applications for this year opened in December 2025 and have been finalised, however students from Reception right through to Year 12 can enrol at any time across the year. If an instrument, type of lesson or teacher is already fully booked, we can place your child on a waiting list until a lesson becomes available.
For more information about our program please click here. If you’re interested in enrolling your son or daughter, please complete the online application form.
