Middle School, Term 2 Week 2 2026
This morning, we were delighted to welcome our Year 6 Junior School families as they begin their transition journey into the Middle School. This is the first of many intentional touchpoints designed to build connection, familiarity and confidence as students and families navigate new learning environments, relationships and routines.
Our Heads of House led families through the Middle School, sharing their House spaces and providing insight into the structures, care and processes that support each student’s experience. Central to these conversations was our commitment to a strong sense of belonging, pride and connection within each House.
Thank you to our Year 6 families for spending the morning with us. We are excited to welcome you into our Middle School community and look forward to continuing to strengthen and grow our partnership across the year.
It was wonderful to see our Year 9 Kennion-Miller and Moore-Sunter students ready and eager to board the bus to the Flinders Ranges for their Outdoor Learning experience. They arrived well prepared and excited for the journey ahead. We look forward to hearing about their experiences and reflections when they return.
At the same time, our Year 9 Bleby-Howard and Cawthorne-Nicholls students are fully engaged in their AMPed Service Learning experience this week. They have already participated in a range of keynote sessions and workshops, developing capabilities connected to service, leadership and community contribution. Next week, the program will reverse, with Bleby-Howard and Cawthorne-Nicholls attending the Flinders Ranges while Kennion-Miller and Moore-Sunter undertake AMPed.
Thank you to our families for your ongoing support in preparing students for these experiences and for the partnership you bring to their learning.
