Parent Masterclass: Online Safety
This Wednesday evening, we look forward to welcoming families to our Parent Masterclass on Online Safety, commencing at 6:00pm in the Graham Lange Centre. These sessions are an important opportunity to partner together in supporting our young people to navigate the online world safely and responsibly. Please refer to the information shared via the Pulteney App and register your attendance if you have not already done so.

Study Skills and the Use of Feedback
Across the Middle School, we have been intentionally developing students’ study skills, with a particular emphasis on understanding and using feedback. Students are being guided to see feedback not as an endpoint, but as a powerful tool to inform their next steps in learning. This is a key part of building learner agency and ensuring each student knows how to improve and progress.
We are continuing to support students in breaking down assignments and managing their workload effectively. Using rubrics to clarify expectations, planning ahead, and organising time and commitments are all essential skills that strengthen both learning engagement and confidence. These habits are foundational as students navigate increasing levels of complexity and responsibility.
At the heart of this work is our commitment to both academic rigour and personal growth. We want students to be challenged, to think deeply, and to strive for excellence, while also developing the resilience, organisation and self-awareness needed to sustain success over time.
Summer Intercol
Looking ahead, we are excited for the commencement of our Summer Intercol next week against St John’s Grammar. We encourage all students to take part, whether as competitors or supporters, and to contribute to the positive, inclusive atmosphere that has become a hallmark of these events. Intercol provides an opportunity not only to compete, but also to demonstrate pride in our School and a strong sense of connection with one another.
Pulteney Grammar will be providing a supporter bus to St Johns Grammar School on Wednesday 1st April, for day two of the 2026 Summer Intercollegiate Cup. There are limited spots on the supporter bus so get in quickly to reserve your spot! Supervision will be provided on the bus and at St John’s Grammar. Parents must collect their child from St John’s on the night.

A visible and unified presence will be important across both days. All students attending as supporters are required to wear their full summer uniform, including blazer, on both Wednesday and Saturday. This helps to reinforce a sense of occasion and reflects the standards and pride we hold as a community.
We look forward to seeing strong Navy Blue spirit on display, both on and off the field, as our students represent the School with energy, respect, and pride.
