Middle School, Term 1 Week 3 2026
There is a strong sense of rhythm across the Middle School as our new timetables settle into their stride. Classrooms are purposeful, movement between lessons is smooth, and students are building confidence as they grow familiar with new routines, expectations and learning spaces. It has been wonderful to see the way they are responding with maturity and energy as the year gathers momentum.
Excitement is also building as the lead-up to Athletics Day begins. Our pre-events are now underway and it has been terrific to see so many students out supporting their peers. Whether competing or cheering from the sidelines, these moments build House spirit and reinforce the importance of showing up for one another. The encouragement, colour and voice around the grounds have been a great reminder of the pride students feel in representing their House.
Thank you to the many Middle School parents and staff who joined us for the Welcome Drinks last Thursday evening. The night provided a valuable opportunity to connect, share stories and continue strengthening the partnership between home and school. We are grateful for the time you gave to be part of the occasion and for the warmth and goodwill that define our community.
A reminder that this Thursday marks the first Rungie Cup event for the Secondary School. All Middle School students are invited to wear their PE uniform with their House top for the entire day.
Year 7 Immunisations
Immunisation consent forms have been sent home with your child. Parents/carers are required to complete and sign the form and return it to your child’s tutor by Friday 20 February.
Please ensure the completed consent form is returned by this date.

Cabaret in the Lane – 2026 Update
As we move through a very busy first term, with a focus on settling into the year and building a strong sense of belonging through key early-term experiences, Cabaret in the Lane will not take place in 2026.
We are mindful of the breadth of commitments for our students and families. Across the year, there will continue to be many opportunities for students to perform, develop their talents and be celebrated in professional and engaging settings.
We remain proud of our students’ achievements and look forward to sharing their performances with our community through a range of productions and performances across the year.
