ELC, Term 3 Week 9 2026
This past weekend’s long lunch reminded us just how fortunate we are to be part of such a vibrant, welcoming community.
Tables stretched long and conversation flowed easily as families came together to share the occasion. It was wonderful to sit alongside our ELC families, swapping stories and getting to know one another a little better over good food and good company. There was laughter throughout, and that easy warmth that only comes when people genuinely enjoy spending time together.
It’s easy to take these moments for granted, but a community doesn’t build itself. It’s the people who show up, who pull up an extra chair for someone new, and who stay for one more chat just to keep the conversation going. That spirit was on full display this weekend, and it’s a privilege to witness and be part of it.
Thank you to everyone who came along and chatted. Moments like these are what make this community special
As the weather warms up, a reminder that we follow a Sun Smart policy: hats and sunscreen are worn by all as soon as the UV rating reaches 3 or above.
A friendly reminder that the last day of school term 3 is Friday 25 September. Holiday Care commences on Monday 28 September – 9 October. (5 October is a public holiday). Term 4 commences on Monday 12 October.

| RUOK? Day Casual Dress with a splash of yellow
On Friday 18 September, ELC students will be invited to wear casual clothes with a ‘splash of yellow’ to help raise awareness and funds for the R U OK? Foundation and Leukaemia Foundation. Families are invited to make a voluntary donation of $2, with all funds collected on the day donated to these two important causes. |
| Holiday Care Bookings
In consultation with the children, the ELC Educator Team has designed an exciting program for the upcoming term break. Click HERE. Bookings will close on Monday 14 September, please email elc@pulteney.sa.edu.au with your required days. As our staffing is based on confirmed bookings, we are unable to guarantee care for children who have not been booked in advance. If you arrive without a booking, we may need to ask that you make alternative arrangements and take your child home. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us plan appropriately for all children in our care.
