Tiny Tunes Jazz Club Concert – Reflections From Our Little Jazz Lovers

Our adventure to Wyatt Hall set the tone for a morning full of excitement, music and movement. The children were buzzing with anticipation as they stepped into the Tiny Tunes Jazz Club with Ms. Melody and Ms. Rhythm.

The performers dazzled us with their sparkly costumes, immediately catching the children’s attention.

“I liked the bow… the pink one… and I liked the blue one too!” one child shared.

Another added, “The headbands!”

As the jazzed‑up nursery rhymes began, the children joined in with enthusiasm dancing, singing and shaking along to the beat.

“It was fun,” one child beamed.

“I liked dancing,” another said proudly.

“I liked the shakers!” was heard more than once.

The concert ended with a magical flurry of bubbles drifting across the hall.

“Popping the bubbles was fun!” one child said.

Another observed, “Bubbles can make stains on your clothes,” offering a very practical reflection following the excitement.

The Tiny Tunes Jazz Club Concert was a joyful blend of music, movement and wonder, leaving the children delighted long after the last bubble had popped.

National Reconciliation Week at Pulteney – Week 7

As part of National Reconciliation Week, students from ELC to Year 12 will contribute to a whole-school paper chain project symbolising our shared commitment to reconciliation. Each class will create a link using the colours of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags, with students adding their name or a message of reflection.

Badge making will also take place in the Quad during recess and lunch on Monday 1 and Tuesday 2 June, with a gold coin donation available for those who wish to contribute.

Key events include:

• Senior School Assembly – Tuesday 2 June, 8.45am (special guest speaker)
• Middle School Assembly – Thursday 4 June, 8.45am
• Junior School Chapel Service – Friday 5 June (paper chain display and celebration)

We look forward to coming together as a community to take part in this important week.

Timing of Activities

Please note that while National Reconciliation Week officially begins earlier through Reconciliation Australia, Pulteney’s whole-school activities will commence from Monday 1 June. This timing allows our community to fully engage in both Founders’ Day and the School Musical Production in Week 6.
