ELC, Term 1 Week 8 2026

Thank you for your thoughtful participation in our learning conferences this week. It has been a joy connecting with you, celebrating each child’s growth, and planning together for their next steps. We look forward to welcoming the families we will see tomorrow and continuing these rich conversations.

Research consistently shows that active parental involvement in a child’s education is strongly linked with positive long‑term outcomes, supporting children not only throughout their schooling but well into adulthood. Your engagement truly makes a difference.

“Partnerships with families are based on understanding each other’s expectations and attitudes, and building on the strength of each other’s knowledge.” EYLF

This spirit of partnership is at the heart of everything we do. Thank you for walking alongside us in your child’s learning journey.

Learning Conferences to be held in ELC classrooms

Learning Conferences for all students from ELC to Year 12 will be held in Week 7 and 8 as follows:

Wednesday 18 March 2026 Online 4.00pm – 6.00pm

Face to Face 6.30pm – 8.30pm

All sessions will run from 4.00pm – 6.00pm and 6.30pm – 8.30pm

The conferences will provide a valuable opportunity for teachers, parents and students to reflect on student progress to date and inform the direction and approach to teaching and learning moving forward. As meaningful feedback is key in ensuring students are successful both academically and personally, students are encouraged to attend the conferences with their parents.

Volunteers at Yartangka

We are seeking volunteers to join us at Yartangka. It is a great way to experience this time outdoors with your child and the benefits it offers for all children. A Working with Children Check is required and completion of RRHAN training for volunteers. If you are interested and have time available, we would love to hear from you.
