Creative Studio Program – Expression of Interest

Pulteney’s Creative Studio program is a new co-curricular program designed for students in Years 7–12 who are passionate about art, design and making.

Based in the Osmond Street Studios, the Creative Studio program will provide students with the opportunity to develop specialist creative skills through a series of short, hands-on studio courses led by experienced staff and visiting artists. Students will work with professional materials, explore new techniques, and create finished works to take home.

Proposed courses may include:

  • Introduction to Oil Painting
    • Silver Jewellery Making
    • Ceramics and Sculpture
    • Extended Drawing Techniques

The program will operate in short-course formats (typically 4–6 weeks), allowing students to explore a range of creative disciplines across the semester.

Students may also have opportunities to:
• Exhibit work in the Osmond Street Gallery
• Participate in community exhibitions and events
• Work alongside visiting artists and our Artist in Residence
• Develop personal creative projects beyond the classroom curriculum

At this stage, we are seeking expressions of interest from students and families as we finalise the structure of the program. Sessions are likely to run after school (approximately 3.45pm–4.45pm) and will incur a materials contribution of approximately $60 per course, with students retaining all completed works.

If your child would be interested in participating in the Creative Hub, please complete contact Lauren Sutter to register your interest (lauren.sutter@pulteney.sa.edu.au)

We look forward to creating a vibrant community of young artists, designers and makers who are eager to extend their skills, explore new creative pathways and connect with others who share their interests.
