Board of Governor Vacancies

The Board of Governors of Pulteney Grammar School invites Expressions of Interest from members of the Pulteney community who wish to contribute to the strategic leadership, governance and future direction of the School. Two vacancies will become available at the end of 2026 under the School’s Constitution:

  • Clause 11(c) One nominee of the Parents and Friends of Pulteney Association
  • Clause 11(d) One nominee of the Pulteney Grammar School Board of Governors

The Board and the Parents & Friends of Pulteney Association will be working together through a joint recruitment process.

We take this opportunity to recognise the contribution of the outgoing Governors, Ms Leah Schubert and Mr Mark Thomson and thank them for their contributions to the School and the Board of Governors.

As part of its ongoing succession planning, the Board is seeking to further strengthen its collective skills, with particular interest in candidates who bring expertise in:

  1. Strategic financial leadership, supported by relevant qualifications;
  2. Philanthropy, fundraising and advancement; and
  3. Emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This is an opportunity to contribute to the governance and long-term success of one of South Australia’s leading independent schools, helping to shape the educational experiences and opportunities of current and future generations of Pulteney students.

Expressions of interest close at 5.00pm on Friday 13 November 2026.

For further information, including a nominations pack, please contact Mr Ben Raw, Board Secretary, on (08) 8216 5555 or via email ben.raw@pulteney.sa.edu.au.

Yours sincerely,

Diana Newcombe
