2027 International Academic STEM Tour
Due to the high level of interest, we are now offering a second information session tonight, Tuesday 23 June at 6.00pm in the Cambrell Breakout space, Ground Floor, Centre for Senior Learning. Please RSVP here if you wish to attend.
The 2027 International Academic STEM Tour, will take place during the June/July School holidays and will bring STEM to life on a global stage through immersive, hands-on experiences that cannot be replicated in the classroom. This includes:
- Milan, Italy: Visits to the Davinci Museum in Milan and the Ferarri Museum in Maranello
- Geneva, Switzerland: Physics workshops at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider and the University of Geneva
- London, UK: Workshops at the Natural History Museum and chemistry laboratories at the Royal Institution in London
- Oxford, UK:STEM activities and biology seminars at Oxford University and code breaking at Bletchley Park
- Tromsø, Norway: A once-in-a-lifetime experience in the Arctic Circle, including 24 hours of sunlight!
